Mission Statement

  • Written by the founders in 1999 and revised most recently in 2011, the mission statement reflects the changes in enrollment, demographics, and curriculum.

    —To provide specialized instruction in a small group setting for students who have learning differences in second through twelfth grade

    —To give students individualized study skills, compensatory strategies, organizational techniques as well as develop social skills to be successful in the future as productive members of society

    —To foster students' ability to achieve mastery learning in all curriculum areas and gain confidence in their academic endeavors, enabling them to return to the regular setting, if appropriate


  • The Trilogy School is located in the midtown section of Raleigh, North Carolina near the North Hills area and in close proximity to I-440. Its unique features are its small size, its 4-6 to 1 teacher/student ratio, and its ability to provide an individualized curriculum that addresses many types of learning styles.


Students in grades two through twelve are served in a variety of ways:

  • Half day-reading, writing, math (shared with their base school)
  • Full day reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and academic enrichment
  • Partial day by the course
  • Online instruction through Brigham Young University


  • AdvancEd: Accreditation in 2007 and reaccredited in 2012 and 2017
