A Fun and Informative Class

Sue Mitchell, of the local Triangle Curling Club, came to Trilogy today to talk with students in Ms. Fuller’s Health class about the history, equipment, and rules of the Olympic sport curling. She also shared information with the students about where they could view curling locally and that there is a junior league for interested players under the age of 21.

A Visit to the Poe Center

Today Mrs. Winborne’s 5th grade science class traveled to the Poe Center for a program on the skeletal and muscuslar system called “Bones, Joints, and Vertebrae.”  After the program, the class enjoyed a fascinating  film shown from the point of view of being inside the human brain as well as several interactive displays around the center. What a fabulous way to conclude the study of the human body!
